Wellborn died on September ,30,2005.He was born in Morgan County on April,7,1921.He died in Coweta County.He married Annie Lewis Ivey on the Fifteenth of August 1942 in Walton County at the home of Rev. Wayman Almond. The first four years of their marriage she lived at his home in Morgan County. Ga.Mr.Wellborn was drafted into the Army on Octomber one .He was sent to Camp Crowder ,Missouri near Neosho Mo. She went to live with himin Janurary 1943.And soon after she came he was sent to North Afirc later on to Italy.He went in at Naples.Hewent all the way up to northern Italy.The war in Europe ended in 1945.Herbert came home in Sepember.They bought a farm in Walton county in1948. Their first child was borned while Herbert was in Italy. Their second daughter was born in 1948 in Morgan County,Ga. The family moved to Atlanta, Ga.in1958 They moved to Winter haven,Florda in ninteen seventy nine.They moved back to Ga. in1998 near their daughter Paulette W.Thomas inFairburn Ga.Their other daughter Judy W. Baxter lives in Valdosta,Ga. Both Daughters graduated from Georgia State University and became School Teachers.Judy married in1975 to a teacher at Valdosta State University.Where he now is Dept.Head of the chemisty Dept.Paulette's husband DeWayne Thomas from Gainsville,Ga, has been in the air condioning and plumbing business since their marriage in 1963. Mr. Wellborn is survined by his wife of 63 years,Two daughters Paulette and DeWayne Thomas,Judy and Jim Baxter.One sisterMrs.Martha Malcolm,A sister in law Mrs Roy F.Wellborn and many neices and newphes and many Cousins .He was buried in West Veiw Cemetery in Atlanta, Ga.
