W. C. Wright, on College Street, after a week's illness. This good woman died as she had lived - honored and lived by all who knew her. Her church, her town, and the friends endeared to her by long association, held a warm place in her heart, which responded generously to every impulse of her loyal nature. It was here that the best days of her life were spent, and 'tis only fitting that she should have her eternal abiding place amid the scenes she loved so well, side by side in the plot hallowed by the dust of her dear husband. Her Christian character was as beautiful as it was consistent. With an unfaltering faith in God and his divine purposes, murmuring never at His dispensations, she entered into the rest that comes to those who love the Lord. Verily, a good woman has gone to her reward, and all that is left is a fragrant memory of her good deeds and bright Christian example. Deceased was the widow of the late Judge B. H. Wright, (ILLEGIBLE) of her death was 84 years of age. She is survived by five children - Mrs. J. C. Gibson and Co. W. C. Wright of Newnan, Mr. G. B. Wright of (ILLEGIBLE) Mrs. T. S Roberts and Mrs. E. S. Roberts of Hapley [note: should be Hatley], Ga. The funeral took place Wednesday afternoon from the residence of her son, Col. W. C. Wright, services being conducted by Rev. F. J. Amis, assisted by Rev. W. J. Cotter. The body was laid to rest in Oak Hill cemetery. The pallbearers were Messrs. H. C. Arnall, Sr., I. N. Orr, Sr., T. B. Davis, T. G. Farmer, Sr., J. L. Brown, J. D. Simms and W. S. Askew. .
