Married, at the Virginia House, in this city, on Wednesday last, by Dr. Jas.
Stacy, Dr. John T. Moore to Mrs. Piercie Manley.

This announcement will bring rejoicing to the many friends of this popular
couple, each of whom is held in the highest esteem by an unusually large coterie
of friends.  After the ceremony had been performed the congratulations of the
many friends present were showered upon the happy couple, and soon all gathered
around the festal board to do honor to the occasion.

Dr. Moore is one of our most prominent physicians and stands eminent in his
profession.  He is as popular as he is gifted.  The bride is well known as the
popular hostess of the ‘Virginia House.’  Her kind demeanor and excellent heart
makes her a universal favorite.

May their lives be long and happy.
