G. Gardner. Dr. B. D. Ragsdale, of Mercer university, was the officiating minister. Miss Janice Combs, of Locust Grove, was maid of honor. The three bridesmaids were Miss Helen Davis, Locust Grove; Miss Janice Singleton, Fitzgerald; Miss Amelia Walker, Griffin. A group of children, Mildred Combs, Nell Madden, Bernice and Nan Combs and Jack Combs and Woodfin Combs, Jr., served as flower girls and ribbon bearers. The bride was lovely in the bridal costume of white with veil of orange blossoms and a shower bouquet. Mr. Ernest Moore, a brother of the groom, was the best man. The home was beautifully decorated with smilax, ferns and pink roses. After the ceremony a salad course and coffee was served. The bride is a popular member of Locust Grove's younger set and is an accomplished teacher of music. The groom is a graduate of Oglethorpe university and is a young man of strong character and personality. After a short wedding journey Mr. and Mrs. Moore will be at home to their friends in their country home near Newnan.
