On Thursday evening last, at the home of the bride's father in this city, Miss Hattie Shields was married to Dr. C F Crouch. The ceremony was performed in an impressive and appropriate manner by Rev F M Blalock. The home of the bride was beautifully and artistically decorated, and a large circle of relatives and invited guests were present when the happy twain were made man and wife. Immediately after the ceremony the party were dined, and the bride and groom departed at once for the home of Dr. Crouch's father, who lives in Meriwether County. The bride was one of our most beautiful and lovable you women, possessed of many noble traits, and many charms of mind and person, that endear her to a host of friends and acquaintances. Dr. Crouch is a rising, prosperous young physician, and may well be congratulated on the prize he won.
