I Harris Best of the County and state of aforesaid, being in a bad state of health at present, but of sound mind and disfusing memory taking into consideration the uncertainty of life, and remembering that it is ordained for all persons to die, _______ thought proper to make this my last will and testement and do by these present make and declare this to be my last will and testement, _____ by severing all other wills. First, that after death, that my body be buried in a christain like manner. Item 2. I will that all my just debts be paid by my executor here in after mentioned. Item 3. I give and bequest unto my daughter Louise one side saddle. Item 4. I will that all my effects shall be sold, only the saddle before mentioned, and my debts paid, and _____ of any left, _____ equal divisions_____ any_____heirs as they become of age. Item 5. Westmoreland two of the ____ ____ who being sworn depose and say that they saw Harris Best the testatory sign, seal, declare and publish the writing contained in this paper, as his last will and testement, freely, voluntarily, and of his own accord and without any comp____or influence whatever, and that at the time of the execution of said will and testement said teatatory was of sound and disfusing mind and memory, that ____signed said will, at the insistance and request of the testatory, and in his presence, and in the presence of each other, sworn to and subscribed. Georgia Court of Ordinary April Term 1852 Coweta County Whereas the last will and testement of Harris Best late of said county Deceased has been proven in ___of the law and admitted to ____ and Hosea Gray the executor named in said will having made application to be duly qualified as Executor of said will it is therefore ordered that letters ________ do issue to the said Hosea Gray upon his taking the usual oath.
