The petition of Charles W Culpepper assigned of Robert Chappell respectfully showeth that Harris Best late of said county dec'd did in his lifetime make execute and deliver to this said Robert Chappell his certain bond & obligation in writing bearing date the 8th day of September 1851 in the sum of eight hundred dollars. C______ to make titles to a part of Lot of land number three hundred and three in the first district of said county to _____ fifty acres in the south west corner to the said Robert Chappell whereas appearing to the court upon the petition of Charles W Culpeper assignee of Robert Chappell and from the Copy Bond attached to said petitoner that Harris Best late of said County deceased did in his lifetime execute to the said Robert Chappell his bond for titles to a part of lot of land No 303 in the 1st dist of said County to wit fifty acres in the south west corner of said lot, that the same Robert Chappell assigned said bond to the said Charles W Culpepper for a valuable consideration that the said Harris Best departed this life without executing titles to said land, either to the said Robert or Charles W, and without making any provisions therefore by will, and if futher appearing to the court that the purchase money for said land has been fully paid, and that Hosea Gray is the legally qualified executor of the last will and testement of the said Harris Best deceased, it is therefore on motion ordered by the Court that this order Visi be published in one of the public gazettes of this state and at the court house in said county for three months requiring all persons concerned to share cause if any they have, at the first term of this court after the three months publication as aforesaid to ____, on the first monday in February next why an order absolute should not be granted, requiring the said Hosea Gray execute as aforesaid to make & execute to the said
