Will of John Gilmore Fry 25 Jul 1867 Coweta County, GA In the name of God, Amen. I, John G. Fry of the county of Coweta & state of Georgia, being in sound mind & memory, & considering the uncertainty of this frail & transitory life, do therefor make, ordain, publish & declare this to be my last will & Testament. That is to say, First, after all my lawful debts are paid & discharged, the residue of my estate, real & personal, I give, bequeath & dispose of as follows: to wit: To my youngest son Sanders T. Fry a sufficient amount to pay his educational expenses for three years, or three hundred dollars to be expended for that purpose. To my daughter, Lucy Ann Fry our bed and furniture & one hundred dollars to be spent for clothing & educational purposes. To my son Jeptha D. Fry I give one third of all the cost which may be collected from the sale of all my personal effects, together with the present crop of 1867. I will that immediately after my death an equal division of the provisions on hand be made between the three sons named heirs. The remainder of my estate both real & personal I wish to be divided equally among my three children J. D. Fry, Lucy Ann Fry, and Sanders T. Fry. Also it is my will that my land remain unsold until my youngest child becomes of age, to be sold by the executor of this will for the benefit of the aforesaid children, but the remainder of my property to be sold to the highest bidder at such time the executor may thing best. All my older children being of age & transacting business for themselves & having received from me their full pro-rata share of my property that I now possess or may possess at the time of my debts. Likewise, I make, constitute and appoint my son H. H. Fry to be executor of this my last will & Testament hereby making all former wills I me made.
