Will of H H NIXON, Coweta County, Georgia Contributed for use in the USGenWeb Archives Copyright 2000 V Freeman pg. 681 WILL OF H.H. NIXON. Georgia, Coweta County. I, H.H. Nixon, of said State and County, being of sound and disposing mind and memory, do make this my last will and testament. Item 1. I wish my executor, hereinafter named as soon as possible after my death to pay all my debts. Item 2. It is my will and desire, and I hereby direct that my son, J. G. Nixon, or the child who takes care of me until death, be paid out of my estate extra compensation for nursing and taking care of me in my last sickness and for the time that I remain with him before my death, it being my desire that he or she should have something extra and additional to what my other children shall receive from my estate because of his attention to me and for expenses incurred in taking care of me in my declining years. This compensation to be reasonable and just. Item 3. After the payment of provisions made in Items 1 and 2 of my will, and after the expenses of administration have been paid, I direct that the remainder of my estate be divided equally share and share alike between my children, to-wit: J.G. Nixon, Mrs. Mrs. Dora Burdett, C.B. Nixon, Mrs. Lucy Moody, Mrs. Ella Addy, and Mrs. Alice Horton. Item 4. If either of my said children should die before I do, then and in that event I direct that his or her share shall go to his or her child or children. Item 5. I do hereby appoint J.G. Nixon executor of this my will, and my said executor herein named is hereby relieved from making any inventory or appraisment of my said estate, nor shall he be required to give bond, nor shall he be required to make any return to any court whatsoever.
