We proceeded on this day to the performance of that duty; we ascertained that there were Eight distributees to wit: Francis Nixon, John Nixon, Wiley Nixon, Samuel Nixon, Harrison H. Nixon, Joseph Nixon, Absalom V. Roberts, William J. Joseph P. & Francis Nixon, minors of Permelia Nixon, deceased, the shares were Numbered 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8, and were assigned to the distributees in the following manner to wit, the names of the distributees were written on a piece of paper and placed in a hat the numbers were written on other pieces of paper and put in another hat. The hats were both well shaken a name was then drawn from the hat Containing the names, then a number was drawn from the hat Containing the numbers, the following is the result: No. 1 Absalom V.
