Mitchell, Ordinary of said County To William B. Huckaba Greeting Whereas it has been presented to me that Martha Pace, late of said County, deceased, died intestate, that at the time of her death was possessed of considerable property, that there is great danger of waste of said Estate for want of due ones legal administration being had on the same -- Therefore, to know all men to whom these presents shall be made known that I, Batty M. Mitchell, Ordinary of the County aforesaid have this day appointed you, the said William B. Huckaba, administrator of all and Singalar, the goods and Chattel Rights and Credits of the said Martha Pace, deceased, Temporarily to collect, take care of and preserve from waste the real and personal Estate of the said Martha Pace in terms of the law to the use, benefit, and behalf of those who have a right thereunto to take into your hand and possession and keep safe from any waste all the goods and Chattel Rights and Credits of her the said Martha Pace, deceased until due and legal administration can be had, to make or cause to be made a true and perfect inventory of all and Singular the goods and Chattel Right and Credits of the said Martha Pace, deceased, and the same being so made to return into my office on or before the first Monday in February next.
