Pennington Georgia, Coweta County By virtue of an Order of the Court of ordinary of said county to me directed to make distribution of the Estate, the same being lands of Silas M. Pennington, late of said county, in hands of W.T. Neill, administrator; among his lawful dis- tributees Ida E. Pennington and Frances E. Odom, we proceeded in the following manner this 26th day of September 1873 to execute said order after first being sworn by each other. The distributees were found to be two and of course the estate which consisted of the East half lot of land number 230 in the first District of said county was to be divided as near as possible into two equal parts. We procured the services of the county Sur- veyor and had the Said East half of lot of land No. 230 divided into two equal parts by a line running East and West through the middle of said half lot. The north half of said half lot being occu- pied at the time of this distribution by one of the distributees, Mrs. Francis E. Odom, we assigned that to her but then having the improvements on it, we con- sidered it to be worth one hundred & fifty dollars more than the South half. Therefore in giving the South half of said land to Ida E. Pennington we required Mrs. Frances E. Odom to pay to W. T. Neill, the Guardian of Ida E. Pennington, Seventy five dollars. Sept 26, 1873 F.
