NOTES: From: "DKB" Subject: [Crawford] Spillers/Bond and John Miller Cemeteries There is a map published by the Crawford Camber of Commerce awhile back, which gives general locations of old cemeteries and churches. On that map, number 36 is listed as John Miller/Spillers Cemetery; number 109 is listed a Miller Cemetery. As far as I know, the Miller Cemetery (109) has not been located. Even though shown separate on the map, I accept that they may indeed be the same cemetery. So, not the question! Does anyone know then the John Miller/Spillers Cemetery, started being called the Spillers/Bond Cemetery? In her Will, Elizabeth "Betsy" Miller-Britt (daughter of John Mason Miller); wished to be buried in the Family Cemetery. This would imply either Britt or Miller Cemetery. She died in 1900. Henry N. Britt (husband of Elizabeth "Betsy" Miller) died in 1907. He was buried (according to his obituary) was buried in Miller Cemetery, next to his wife. Minnie Lee Britt-Prince (wife of Oscar C. Prince Sr.) died in 1952. Her obituary also states that she was buried in Miller Cemetery. Since the graves of those above have been located, based upon the list provided by Lewis Andrews; I can only assume the Miller/Spillers Cemetery started being called Spillers/Bond, recently (past 50 years).
