State of Georgia, Crawford County This Indenture made and entered into this the 3rd day of July in the year of our Lord One Thousand Nine Hundred & Six between K. P. Lowe Administrator of State of Georgia & County of Crawford duly constituted Administrator of the Estate of B. J. Becham deceased late of Crawford County in the State of Georgia party of the first part Witnesseth: That said party of the first part by virtue of an order granted by the Honorable the Court of Ordinary of Crawford County on the first Monday in June 1906 (previous notice of application for lien to sell the land hereafter described belonging to the estate of said deceased having been given publication as required by law) did on the first Tuesday in July 1906 within the legal hour of sale at the place of Public sale at the Court door in the town of Knoxville Crawford County Georgia put up & expose the sale at public outcry to the highest bidder. After said sale had been duly advertised by publication as required by law, and after all requirements of law had been fully complied with the lot or parcel of land lying & being in the Second district of said County consisting of one hundred acres more or less being a portion of lot (Lot) number 238 Two hundred & thirty eight, bounded as follows: On the South by Mr. Sandefur on the North by J. B. Long on the East by Mrs. Martha Long & Mrs. T. J. Piles on the West by James T. Mathews the same being known as the B. J. Becham home place when the lot or parcel of land there described was bid off by said party of the second part at the price or sum of One hundred & four Dollars to the big hest(?) and best bidder. Now said party of the first part in consideration of the ___(?)___ & for and in _______(cut off)________ One Hundred & Four Dollars and the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained sold & conveyed & hereby does grant bargain sell & convey unto the said party of the second part his heirs & assigns the said described land with all the rights membur and appurtenances thereto belonging or in anywise appertaining to him & his own proper use benefit & behalf forever in as full & ample a manner as the same was possessed or enjoyed by the said B. J. Becham deceased in his lifetime. In Witness Whereof the said party of the first part has hereunto set his hand & seal the day & year first above written K. P. Lowe Admnr of B. J.
