Beckham to Gray Andrews January 20, 1852 Crawford County, Georgia This Indenture made this twentieth day of January Eighteen hundred and fifty two Between William W. Beckham & Gray Andrews both of the county and State aforesaid Witnesseth That the said William W. Beckham for and in Consideration of the sum of one hundred and fifteen Dollars Cash in hand paid The Receipt Whereof is hereby acknowledged hath bargained sold and conveyed to the said Gray Andrews his Heirs and assigns fifty acres of Land it being The South West corner of Lot of Land Number two hundred and thirty eight in the second District of Originally Houston now Crawford County to have and to hold the said fifty acres of Land unto him the said Gray Andrews his heirs and assigns in fee Simple. And the Said William W. Beckham for himself his Heirs and assigns the right and title to said primises(?) or fifty acres of Land will and doth warrant and defend unto the said Gray Andrews his heirs and Assigns Against the claim of himself his heirs and assigns and all other persons whatever lawfully claiming the same. In testimony Whereof the said William W. Beckham hath hereunto set his hand and seal this the day and year above written. William W.
