Crawford County
Where as in obedience to a writ Fifa  of said out of the Superior Court of the 
county of Crawford at the suit of Lewis Bond against John Hatcher, Wm. B. Files 
Sheriff of the county aforesaid did lately seize parcel of land herein after 
discribed as the property of the said John Hatcher and after being duly and 
publicly advertised agreeable to law did on the forth day of February in the 
year one thousand eight hundred and thirty four at the place of public sales in 
the said county of Crawford _____ the same at public outcry when Jeremiah 
Hatcher being the highest bidder the same was knocked off to him at the price 
or sum of fity seven dollars sixty two and half cts.  Now this Indenture made 
the eleventh day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred 
and thirty four and in the fifty ninth year of the Independence of the United 
States of America. Between the said William B. Files Sheriff as aforesaid of 
the one part and the said Jeremiah Hatcher of the other part.  Wtnesseth that 
the said William B. Files Sheriff as aforesaid for and in consideration of the 
sum of fity seven dollars & sixty two and half cts to him in hand paid by said 
Jeremiah Hatcher his heirs and asigns all that tract or parcel of land A being 
fifty acres of the east part of lot no. two hundred thirty (230) in the second 
district of originally Houston now Crawford County together with all and 
singular the rights members and appertenances unto the said Jeremiah Hatcher 
land being belonging or in any wise appertaining and also all the estate right 
title interest property claim and demand of the said John Hatcher in law equity 
or otherwise whatsoever of in or to the same.  To have and to hold the said 
parcel of land and premises and every part thereof unto the said Jeremiah 
Hatcher his heirs and asigns to the only proper use benefit and behoof of the 
said Jeremiah Hatcher his heirs and asigns forever in fee simple in as full and 
ample a manner as the said John Hatcher or his heirs and asigns did or might 
have held and enjoyed the same had it not been seized and sold under the 
execution aforesaid.  In witness whereof the said William B. Files hath 
hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal the day and year ___ above written.

In person appeared before me John Whittington and saith that he saw William B. 
Files asign seal and deliverthe written deed to Jeremiah Hatcher for the 
written _____ and saw James M H. Whittington asign it as a suscribing witness 
and h__ signed also a sworn to before me this 5th day of May 1835.
