Georgia, Crawford County}
This indenture made this third day of September in the year of
our Lord Eighteen hundred & forty nine Between Gabriel A. Ray
of the county & State aforesaid of the one part & Wiley M. Ray
brother of the said Gabriel A. Ray, for & in consideration of
the natural love and affection which he has & bears to his said
brother Wiley M. Ray hath given granted & conveyed and by these
presents doth give grant & convey unto the said Wiley M. Ray
his heirs & assigns all that tract or parcel of land situated
lying & being in the sixth district of originally Houston, now
Crawford County being the west half of lot number ninety five
of said district containing one hundred one & a fourth acres be
the same more or less To have & to hold said tract or parcel of
land unto him the said Wiley M. Ray his heirs & assigns
together with all and singular the rights members &
appurtenances to the same in any manner belonging to him and
their own proper use benefit & behoof forever in fee simple. In
testimony whereof the said Gabriel A. Ray hath hereunto set his
hand and affixed his seal the day & year above written.
