Crawford County} This indenture made & entered into this 27th day of November 
One thousand eight hundred and thirty two between David M Stuart of said county 
and State aforesaid and John H. Monk of the state and county aforesaid of the 
other part Witnesseth___ that for and in consideration of the sum of One 
hundred and seventy Dollars to the said David M. Stuart in hand paid by said 
John H. Monk the receipt whereof is hereby acknowleged hath bargained and sold 
and by these presents doth bargain and ___ unto the said John H. Monk a certain 
tract or parcel of land situate lying and being in the 2nd District of 
originally Houston now Crawford county known and distinguished by lot No (201) 
Fifty acres more or less of said Lot in the northeast ___ of said Lot being 1/4 
of said Lot no.(201) I the said David M. Stuart have this day bargained and 
sold unto the said John H Monk his heirs & asignes forever in fee simple _ and 
the said David M. Stuart ______ my heirs __ do  warrant and forever defend the 
right and title of said tract or parcel of land free from claim or claims of 
any person or persons whatsoever unto the said John H. Monk his heirs & 
asigns.  In testemony whereof I the said David M. Stuart have hereunto set my 
hand and seal day and date above mentioned.
