Benjamin J. Becham

Deed Book I- pg 67-68

Crawford Co., GA

This indenture made & entered into this 4th day of
December 1866 between Isaiah Walton administrator of
Washington F. Vining deceased of the county of Houston &
State of aforesaid of one part & Benjamin J. Becham of
said county and State of other part.

Witnesseth that said Isaiah Walton admn for the
consideration of the Sum of Four hundred & thirty two
20/100 (could be no/100) dollars to him in hand paid at &
before the Sealing & delivery of these present the
receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted
bargain & Sold & conveyed & does by these presents grant
bargained sell and convey unto the said Benjamin J.
Beckam his heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of
land situate lying and being in the second district
originally Houston now Crawford County the same being
east lot No. Two hundred & Thirty eight (238) containing
one hundred and one fourth acres more or less with all
the rights members and appurtenances thereunto belonging
to have and to hold the aforesaid tract or parcel of land
unto him the said Benjamin J. Becham his heirs and
assigns together with all the rights members and
appurtenances to the said parcel of land in anywise
belonging to his & then own proper use and benefits and
__?__ for ever in Fee Simple.

And the said Isaiah Walton Admn for himself his heirs
Executors and administrators ­ the said bargained (ink
spot) together with title & possession thereof unto the
said Benjamin J. Becham his heirs & assigns will warrant
and forever defend the right and title thereof against
himself his heirs Executors & administrators.

In testimony whereof the said Isaiah Walton Administrator
hath hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal this day
and year first above written.
