Crawford County} This indenture made & entered into this ninth day of December 
Eighteen Hundred & forty Between Wilie Webb of the one part and William Zeigler 
of the other part both of the county & State aforesaid = Witnesseth that Said 
Wilie Webb for and in consideration of the Sum of five hundred Dollars to him 
in hand paid by said William Zegler at or before the Sealing & delivery of 
these presents The Receipth Whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted 
bargained & Sold & do by these presents grant bargain Sell & convey unto said 
William Zeigler his heirs and asigns a certain Tract or parcel of Land 
containing one Hundred one & a forth acres be the Lann more or less Situate 
lying & being in the third District of the County of Houston at the time of 
survey now Crawford County in Said State ann being all that part of tract or 
Lot of Land in Said District which is known & distinguished by Number Forty 
Five, No 45, lying on the South Side of Eachuconna Creek = To Have & To Hold 
the said part Tract of Land unto him the said William Zeigler his heirs and 
asignes to his & their own proper use benefit & behoof forever in fee simple 
___ the Said Wilie Webb for himself his heirs and asigns unto the said William 
Zeigler his heirs & asigns & asigns will forever warrant & defend the wright & 
title of Said premises against of themselves & against the claim or claims of 
all and every other person or persons Whatsoever - In Witness Whereof the Said 
Wilie Webb has hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal the day & year above 
written - signed sealed & delivered in presence of - Our word eraced & 
Enter____ before Signed.
