But it seems like you don't care if you never write me any more for I haven't heard from you but once since I have been in France. and you know you promast to write to me once a week. say the letter you wrote makes me think you are going to get married. So if you are married when you get this just tell him (him is underlined) that I am just a cousin "see" Tell Mattie I said I was mad with her because she didn't send me a invatation to her wedding. But wish her a long and happy life, and you also "if you are married". I know you don't care for me very much, and letter like this, will make you care less. But dear if I could see you I would explain it all, but that is impossible you know, I only hope I will live to see you, and then I will tell it all. (Here Cawley first wrote you, crossed that out and wrote it instead) I will close and write to mother for she is all I have to care for, and am sure she is the only one that care's for me If you are not married, I will be so glad to get a long letter from you. I am the same. Cawley C. Hudson Co A 151st M.G.
