Knoxville Residence Burns

The dwelling house owned and occupied by Mr. W.A. Walker at Knoxville, burned 
down at 3 o’clock this morning.  A piano and a small amount of furniture were 
saved.  The larger part of the furniture together with silverware, clothing, 
kitchen utensils, etc., and some money were destroyed.  The fire probably 
originated from a flue over the dining room.

The loss is partially covered by an insurance policy of $500 on the house and 
$500 on the furniture. – Crawford County News
