Died

We regret to announce the death of Mr. Lewis Hicks, of Crawford county, which
took place at his residence on last Sunday morning.  Mr. Hicks was an aged
gentleman who had many friends, and for several years held a responsible office
in the county in which he died.  The cause of his death we learn was from
dropsy.  He was the father-in-law of Mr. James Lucas, of this county.
