Mrs. Holloman was born in Crawford County, but had lived in Macon for the past 54 years. She was retired from Happ Brothers, and was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Primitive Baptist Church in Jones County. Survivors include her husband, James F. Holloman, of Macon, a son, James M. Holloman, of Macon; three daughters, Mrs. Estelle Mitchell, Mrs. Jewel Arnold, and Mrs. Evelyn Williams, all of Macon; a sister, Mrs. A. H. Brown, of Smyrna; ten grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren. The family is at the home of Mrs. Jewel Arnold, 659 Heard Ave. Crest Lawn Funeral Home has charge of arrangements. The family suggests that donations be made to Mt. Pleasant Primitive Baptist Church, J. T. Comer, Route 2, Gray. Additional Comments: Clyde & Jim were married December 24, 1911 in Jones County but later moved to Bibb County. They celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary in 1976. She was the daughter of Mathew Columbus Mathews and Josephine Jones. Mathy & Josie, both born in Crawford County, were married on February 28, 1888 in Bibb County.
