OSCAR JOYNER GOES TO REST
 
Funeral services were held for Oscar Joyner of Hampton, Ga.
at Wesley Chapel on Monday afternoon July 29.  Mr. Joyner,
who was 57 years old, died early Saturday night. He is
survived by three brothers, John and Guyton Joyner of Fort
Valley, and Will Joyner of Jacksonville.  Three sons,
Clarence, Henry, and Tom Oscar, all of Fort Valley.  One
sister, Mrs. J. O. Seay, also of this city, also three
daughters, Mrs. Howard of Macon, Mrs. Kersey of Brookline,
NY, and Mrs. F. G. Hobbs of Fort Valley.  The Funeral
services were conducted by the Rev. N. H. Williams, pastor
of the Fort Valley Methodist church.  Mr. Joyner's death
will be mourned by a wide circle of friends.
