Child Meets Death While At Barbecue

Roberta, Ga., Sept. 7 – 

Annie, the little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.P. Lowe, was killed at a barbecue 
of the Woodmen of the World at Clark’s mill Tuesday by George McMinn who ran 
over her with a motorcycle.  McMinn is said to have dashed thru a crowd at a 
rapid rate.  The child’s neck was broken by the cycle and she died just as her 
parents reached the scene.  McMinn was placed under arrest.
