T. Wade Services Set At Ft. Valley Ft. Valley, Dec. 21 - William Thomas Wade, 81, died Saturday at a Macon hospital. He was a native of Ft. Valley but had been making his home in Macon. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Ft. Valley Primitive Baptist Church with Elder W. H. Hancock officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery with Rooks Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. B. R. Stone of Macon, Mrs. Ernest Madden of Lizella and Mrs. Clyde Philman of Marshallville; five sons, Emmett of Ft. Valley, J. L. of Washington, D. C., and W. C., W. H., and J. M., all of Macon; four sisters, Mrs. Sally Weems, Mrs. Elsie West, Mrs. Alice Walls and Mrs. Ida Terry, all of Macon; two brothers, Claude of Thomaston, and J. H. of Macon; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. The Macon Telegraph, Wednesday, October 24, 1945; Page 2- A Mrs. Camilla C. Wade Mrs. Camilla C. Wade died at her residence, 424 Cleveland Street, yesterday at noon after a brief illness. Mrs. Wade was born in Crawford County, daughter of J. J. Britt and Mrs. Mary Jane Miller Britt and had lived in Macon for 20 years. She was a member of the Providence Primitive Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, W. T. Wade, Macon; three daughters, Mrs. H. C. Philman, Marshallville; Mrs. B.R. Stone and Mrs. Ernest Maddox of Macon; five sons, Walter, Cliff and John M. Wade of Macon; Emmett Wade, Fort Valley; Lester Wade, Washington, D. C. ; 22 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. J. R. Rollins, Boston, Ga.; Mrs. Laura Thompson, Pelham; two half-sisters, Mrs. W. H. Thames, Fort Valley; Mrs. Frances Thames, Macon; two half brothers, Joe and Van Britt, of Fort Valley. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Hart's mortuary today at 2 p.m. Elder W. H. Hancock will officiate and committal services will be at the graveside in the Oaklawn cemetery at Fort Valley today at 3:30 p.m. Pallbearers are to be Grant Andrews, George Durden, Frederick Wade, Lester Clyde Philmon, A.L. Brown and J. C. Rogers.
