                                 HISTORY
                             4 SEPTEMBER 1939
                             CORDELE DISPATCH

Organized in November 1934 with 25 Charter members. Sponsored by Athens Lion
Club. Has had and continues to enjoy affiliation with some of Cordele's
outstanding citizens as officers and members, are firm believers in Cordele and
Crisp County. That by the "Grace of God" the willingness to work together for
the good of all, we will continue to have the finest little community in America.
