2,CORDELE,GA. WAS RECENTLY COMMISSIONED ON GRADUATION FROM PLATOON COMMANDERS SCHOOL
HERE.
 A GRADUATE OF CORDELE HIGH SCHOOL HE ENLISTED IN DEC.1942, AND REPORTED FOR ATIVE
DUTY WITH MARINE V-12 DETACHMENT AT GA. TECH,AT ATLANTA, THE FOLLOWING JULY. HE HAS
SINCE SERVED AT PARRIS ISLAND S.C.,CAMP LEJUNE N.C. AND HERE.
THE FORMER FOOTBALL-BASEBALL ATHELETE IS A NATIVE OF CORDELE. HIS COUSIN CAPTAIN GUS
DOROUGH IS IN THE U.S. ARMY.
