Bradley, age 97, died at his home in Cordele Saturday night at 8 o'clock. He had been in failing health for some time. Mr. Bradley was born in Gettysburg, Pa., the son of John Bradley and Morgan Brown Bradley, both natives of Ireland. He had resided in Cordele for more than half a century and was engaged for many years as a decorator and painter, having had the part in construction of some of Cordele's oldest and finest homes. Quiet and unassuming in manner, Mr. Bradley was a gentleman and a scholar. He is survived by his wife, and one brother, John Bradley , of Penfield, Mass. Last rites for Mr. Bradley were held Monday morning at 9:30 from the Little Flower Catholic church in Cordele conducted by Father E, S, Doherty, Song selections were rendered by Mrs. Caroline Stewart, Mrs. Ed Butler and Mrs. Cratser. The pallbearers were: Dr. W. W. McCollum; Judge U. V. Whipple; E. F. Gillette, E. S. Sackinmare, John Allen, and H. M. Goin. Interment was in the Vienna cemetery.
