The organization was perfected last Monday afternoon at a meeting of the officers and members of the Crisp County Building and Loan Association , at which time said organization was merged into the First Federal Savings and Loan Association of Crisp County and charter for same accepted after the below officers had been duly elected. S. Bundrick, President; J. H. Childs, first vice-president; H. E. Comer, second vice-president; Guy T. Cobb, secretary-treasurer. The directors elected were: M. R. Smith; W. E. Pridgen; T. J. Durrett; Cuy. T. Cobb; H. E. Comer; W. R. Turner; E. A. Vinson; S. Bundrick; T. E. Fletcher; J. H. Childs; C. L. Harris; G. B. Wilkes. The above organization is subject to the provisions of the Home Owners Loan Act and is for the purpose of promoting thrift and financing home construction. Shares are offered at the par value of one hundred dollars each and there is no premium charge for the purchase of shares. Mr. Guy T. Cobb the clever and efficient secretary-treasurer, has been untiring in his efforts to perfect this splendid and helpful organization and the thanks of our people generally are due him. He is constantly on the alert for those things that are calculate to help and improve his city and section and a great asset to us.
