CORDELE DISPATCH 1945
MR. AND MRS. S.V. KELLEY OF WENONA,HAVE BEEN NOTIFIED BY THE WAR DEPARTMENT 
THAT THEIR SON ,T.SGT. CLARENCE KELLEY HAS BEEN RETURNED TO MILITARY CONTROL. 
SGT. KELLEY WAS TAKEN PRISONER IN MARCH 1944 WHEN HIS BOMBER WAS SHOT DOWN 
OVER GERMANY, AND THE ENTIRE CREW CAPTURED. 
 HE WAS LIBERATED IN GERMANY ,SGT. KELLEY'S BROTHER ,SANFORD V. KELLEY, LOST 
HIS LIFE AT PEARL HARBOR,DECEMBER 7,1941.
