           DIED
   Col. J. E. Bivins, president of the First National Bank of Cordele, died at 
Dr. Allen’s private sanatarium, two miles from Milledgeville, a few days ago 
where had gone for treatment.  Col Bivins was a prominent and influential man 
of that city. And he will sadly be missed.
