The Ocilla Star - April 2012
 Funeral services for Loutrelle Elizabeth Childree of Cordele will be held at 2 
p.m. Friday, April 20, 2012 at Cordele First Baptist Church. Burial will follow 
in Sunny side Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 
until 8 p.m. at Rainey Family Funeral Services. They will meet with friends 
again Friday prior to the service from 12:30 until 2:00 at the church.

 Mrs. Childree passed away Tuesday at Crisp Regional Nursing and Rehab. She was 
preceded in death by her husband, Johnie Childree; son, James David Childree 
and sister, Gail Noe. Born in Ocilla, she was the daughter of the late Warren 
and Ola Mae Harper McMillan. She was employed for many years with Cordele 
Banking Co. and Planters First Bank and retired in 1992. She was an active 
member of Cordele First Baptist Church and the Joy Sunday School Class. Mrs. 
Childree is survived by her children, John Mark Childree of Cordele and Warren 
Edwin Childree and his wife, Karen of Titusville, FL; a daughter-in-law, Rene 
Childree of Brooklet; sister, Melba Mitchell of Fitzgerald; six grandchildren 
and their spouses, Nikki and Philip Rhodes of Macon, Staci and Chris Wolski of 
Bangkok, Thailand, Jonathan and Jordana Childree of Statesboro, Jeanna Childree 
of St. Simons Island, Cindy Bishop of Cordele and Kevin and Kelly Childree of 
Savannah; and seven great-grandchildren, Hailley Wolski, Elijah Wolski, Kadee 
Gladney, Tyler Gladney, Abby Gladney, Cole Bishop and Matthew Childree.
