A. Warren in the Pleasant View Community after having h=been in declining health for some time. Last rites were held Tuesday afternoon from the Pleasant View Baptist church, of which the deceased was a loyal member for many years, Rev. R. L. Harvey conducted the services. Two songs, "Does Jesus Care", and "Nearer My God To Thee", were sung by a quartet composed of Mrs. Clifton McClain, R. F. Darricott, J. F. Worthington and Rev. M. F. Bennett, accompanied by Miss Emmalene Howell. The church was banked with beautiful floral offerings token of the love and esteem of the many friends and relatives of Mrs. Warren. Interment was in the Pleasant View Cemetery. Mrs. Warren was born in Dodge County, spending her entire life in this section. She leaves many relatives in Dodge, Wilcox and Crisp counties. She was preceded in death several years ago by her husband, Jim Warren. Survivors include one son J. A. Warren, four daughters Mrs. K. A. McGlamery, of Pineview; Mrs. P. W. Collins of Pineview; Mrs. W. J. Newell of Cordele; and Mrs. S. F. McGuinty, of Pineview; six sisters, Mrs. R. E. Stanton, and Mrs. Joe Warren of Pitts; Mrs. John Dowdy, Mrs. John Hayes, Mrs. R. A. Watson, of Cordeleand Mrs. Edd Hayes of Miami, Fla. a number of grandchildren and great grand children.
