           DEATH CLAIMS L. B. NOBLES; RITES TODAY
 CORDELE---Funeral services for Lewis Bryant Nobles, 66, who died Sunday at 
his residence on Route 3, Cordele will be held today from the Wenona Baptist 
Church with the Rev. Otha Pirkle and the Rev. Charles Ellis officiating. 
Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery.
 Mr. Nobles, who was retired, was a member of the Baptist Church. He had been 
a resident of Cordele for six years.
 His survivors are his wife, Mrs. Essie Varnadore Nobles, Cordele; three 
daughters, Miss Christine Nobles, Macon, Mrs. G. A. Jones and Mrs. James M. 
Watson, both of Cordele; one son, Lawrence Nobles, Cordele; two brothers, A.J. 
Nobles, Pitts and R. A. Nobles, Miami, Fla.; and two sisters, Mrs. W. J. Yawn 
and Miss Millie Nobles of Pitts. Three grandchildren and a number of nieces 
and nephews also survive.
