The funeral serive of James Eldridge Greene, 76, who died Friday, was conducted 
Sunday at Hughes and Wright funeral Home chapel.  Internment followed in Pitts 
Cemetery in Wilcox County.
Mr. Greene, a native of Houston County, had resided near Cordele for six 
years.  He was retired owner of AAA Lawn Mower and Shop in Atlanta.
survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Bateman, macon and Mrs. Doris 
Church, Montgomery, Ala.; and several neices and nephews.
