L. PRIDE Funeral rites were conducted here Sunday afternoon for Captain Frank L. Pride, close relative of a number of Cordeleans whose death occurred Friday night in Panacea, Fla. Rev. Andrew Caraker, pastor of the First Baptist Church officiated at the services, which were held from the chapel of Dekle Funeral Home. Mrs. Margaret Bennett sang "Saved by Grace," accompanied by Mrs. J. A. Murphy. Interment was in Sunny Side Cemetery. Captain Pride, 84 years old at the time of his death, was born in Muscogee county. He retired about 30 years ago and had been living in Panacea. He was a member of the Methodist church. Although in declining health for a number of years, he had seemed unusually well in recent months and his sudden death came as a shock to friends and relatives. Survivors include four nephews; R. E. Harris, and R. R. Harris of Cordele; L. E. Harris, of Dothan,Ala., and George S. Harris, Atlanta; Five nieces: Mrs. Essie Ballenger Gogg; Mrs. Edd Jones and Mrs. W. N. VanKleek, of Cordele; Mrs. J. E. Beasley, Fargo and Mrs. Rosalie Rosser of Chattanooga Tenn, There are also surviving a number of great and great-great nieces and nephews. Pall bearers were Robert D. Harris; R. C. Harris, T. R. Harris, Edd Jones, Iverson Buell, Hal Smith and John Beasley. Among the out of towns persons attending the funeral were. Mrs. J. G. Maloy; Mrs. Angie Dickerson, of Birmingham Ala.Mrs. Rosalie Rosss; Hal Smith of Chattanooga, Tenn. Frank Smith, Norwood; Dr. and Mrs. Iverson Buell, of Panacea; Mr. and Mrs. Cook, Springhill, Fla.; L. E. Harris Dothan, Ala. George S. Harris, Atlanta; Miss Betty Jones, Atlanta; Harris Jones, Macon; Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Beasley, of Fargo; Mrs. S. E. Jones, Jacksonville; Mrs. B. M. Limehouse, of Charleston, S. C.; Mrs. T.R.
