                   Margaret M. Roobin
Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, 1997, at 
Sunnyside Cemetery for Margaret M. Roobin, 84, of 902 E. 19th Ave., who died 
Thursday, Sept. 11, 1997, in Crisp Regional Hospital.
   A native of Wilcox County, Mrs. Roobin was a homemaker and a member of the 
Cordele First United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, and the 
Symphony Club.
   Survivors include a daughter, Beverly Owens of Cordele; a son, Louis Roobib 
of Cordele; a sister, Elizabeth Tankersley of McConb, Miss; six grandchildren; 
and four great-grandchildren.
   She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Roobin,
   Hughes & Wright Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
