Max Roobin Dies at 63 Max Harry Roobin, 63, Cordele businessman, died Wednesday in Crisp County Hospital. A life long resident of Crisp County, he was the son of the late Louis Julius and Ida Boniske Roobin. He was a co-owner of Roobin's in Cordele. Mr. Roobin , a veteran of World War II., was a member of the American Legion, and was a Mason and a Shriner. He was a member of Temple B'Nal Israel of Albany. Survivors are his wife, Mrs Max Roobin of Cordele; two daughters, Mrs. Ricky Reynolds of Killeen, Texas and Mrs. A. Billips of Greenville, West Va.,;one son Lennie Roobin of Cordelle; two sisters, Mrs Harry Minkoff and Mrs. Leon Coslov of Pittsburg, Pa.; four brothers, Jake Roobin, Sam Roobin and Joe Roobin, all of Cordele, and Dr, Avrom Roobin of Macon and three grandchildren.
