NANCY WATSON Seventy Year Old Lifetime Resident Dies After Lengthy Illness Funeral services for Mrs. Nancy E. Watson, 70, of Mt. Carmel community, were held at three o'clock yesterday afternoon from Arabi Cemetery Church, Elder M. A. Hall officiating Mrs. Watson had resided in this county all her life and had been a Member of Emisis Primitive Baptist Church for fifty one years. She died Sunday morning at ten o'clock at her home. Surviving are five sons, Richard E. Watson, Romie Watson, Dannie H. Watson, all of Cordele, Ga. Robert Lee Watson, Ty Ty, Ga., and Henry J. Watson, of Surrency, Ga. Two daughters are Mrs. Martha L. Turner, Coffee, GA. Eliza Margie Watson, Cordele, Ga. She had thirty grandchildren and one great-grand-child. Two brothers, W. S. Dowdy, of Albany and T. D. Dowdy of Cordele. Seven sisters are Mrs. Julia Files of Douglas, Ga. Mrs. Gordy Camron, Sycamore, Mrs. Mandy Camron, Claxton, Mrs. Ludia Evan, Mrs. Rena Hardin and Mrs. Lannie Perry of Cordele, and Mrs. Minnie Dowdy, of Ashburn. Pallbearers were her five sons and a son-in-law, Joe Turner. Two songs, "Jesus Lover of My Soul" and "Amazing Grace" were rendered at the funeral home by P. H. Harden, W. R. Smith, J. Welch Hartley, Mrs. Edd Clark, and Mrs. Carl Davis.
