L. Stephens and Miss Maxie Southwell were united in the holy bonds of matrimony, Sunday, August 2nd, at 10 o'clock, Rev. J. W. Reese officiating. Messrs. D. P. Howard and Ira James were groomsmen and Misses Tilda Southwell and Stella Tyson were bridesmaids. The bride and bridesmaids were neatly attired in white. After the marriage the party drove to Zion Hope church where Rev. Mr. Reese preached and excellent sermon; then to the home of Mr. John Stephens, whee a bountiful dinner was spread.
