Sale: John Miller to Wm B. Dent and Edward F. Jones
9 January 1839  (The deed says 1839; it was registered 1859, error?)

Georgia Heard County
	This indenture made this ninth day of January in the year eighteen 
hundred and thirty nine between John Miller of the one part and Wm. B. M Dent 
and Edward L (or F) Jones of the other part witnesseth that the said John 
Miller for and in the consideration of the sum of one hundred and twenty five 
dollars to him in hand paid the receipt wherof is hereby acknowledged at or 
before the sealing and delivery of these presents hath granted bargained and 
sold and by these presents doth grant bargain and sell unto the said Wm B. M 
Dent and Edward J. Jones their heirs and assigns the following lots or parcels 
of land to lot number seven hundred and ninety eight in the twenty first 
district of the third section of formerly Cherokee now Paulding County and Lot 
number three hundred and ninety one in the Eleventh District and Fourth 
Section of formerly Cherokee and now Dade County.  
	To have and to hold all and singular the rights members and 
appurtenances to the said lots of land being blonging or in anywise pertaining 
to them the said Wm B Mdent and Edward J. Jones to then and their own proper 
use, benefit and behalf forever in fee simple. And the said John Miller for 
myself and my heirs and asignes the rights and title of the said bargained 
premises unto the said Wm B. M Dent and Edward F. Jones, their heirs and 
assigns will forever warrant and defend not only against certain or claims of 
my slef and my heirs and assigns but also against the claims or claims of all 
and everyother person or persons whomever.
	In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and 
date from able written. Signed sealed and delivered in the presence of:

Additional Comments:
The deed says 1839; but it was registered in 1859.  I cannot find a record of 
the original purchase of this propery.
