                           Mae Chambless Sanders

 DAWSON--- Mae Chambless Sanders, 73 of Dawson, died at her residence, Sunday 
June 2, 2002.

 The funeral service will be held at 2pm today at Harvey Funeral Chapel with 
the Rev. Tim Clark officiating. Interment will follow in Floral Memory Gardens 
in Albany.

 Mrs. Sanders was born in Terrell County, December 16, 1928, daughter of the 
late J. L. Chambless and Carrie Broxton Chambless. She moved back to Dawson in 
1980, after living in Augusta for several years. She was a homemaker, member of 
Calvary Baptist Church and the widow of the late Clarence G. Sanders.

 In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased in death by a 
brother, Thomas Chambless and a sister, Ruth C. Powell.

 Survivors include a daughter, Brenda Kay Sanders, of Dawson; two sisters, 
Jeanette Chambless Mathis and Gracie Chambless, both of Dawson; and several 
nieces and nephews.
