Dawsonville, Ga., May 15- On Sunday morning last, about 3 o'clock, our newly installed ordinary, A. J. Taylor, was aroused from his peaceful slumbers by Mr. Howell, who informed him that he had been dodging around all night with his lady love-that she was then stowed away near by, and that he desired "a pair" of licenses quick, and wanted the knot tied in a very short order. The ordinary, bride and groom repaired to the dwelling of Colonel James M. Bishop, and arousing him, the party entered into the parlor, when the license was issued by the ordinary, and in less than five minutes Colonel Bishop "said over the ceremony" and they were man and wife. Later in the day it turned out that the lady was the daughter of a Lumpkin county citizen, Mr. Moose, who was in hot pursuit. When Mr. Moose reached Dawsonville, and learned they were married, he gave up the chase and slowly wended his way home.
