Burt of the County of Dawson and the state of Georgia being of sound and disposing mine and memory but in feeble and declining health deem it necessary to make this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all others by me made and I commit my sold to God who gave it and my worldly estate I dispose of as follows Item 1st I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Mary Elisabeth Burt for ever all the fixtures household goods furniture and effects which should at my death be in or about my house Item 2nd I give and devise to my said wife all my personal and real estate consisting of live stock of all kinds, money, notes, and accounts all the fixtures and appliances of my farm and the farm its self situated on Amicolola Creek and upon which I now live in the above named county and state and after paying my just debts to use and dispose of the balance as she may think right and proper for her own and the benefit of my children during her natural life or widowhood, but in case she should marry again then it is my will that she receive only a child part except my first bequest. Item 3rd It is my and request that all my children who become of age after my death received as much of my personally property to give them a start in life as the ones that have left me received provided the financial condition of my estate and circumstances will permit Item 4th I desire and request that there be and appraisement or inventory taken of my property at my death. Item 5th I appoint my said wife Mary E Burt and my son William J. Burt. Executrix and executor of this my last will and desire that they shall not be required to give security for they performance of their duty Item 6th At the final settlement of my estate is is my will that my executor be vested with the power to sell my property at public or private sale or divide it equally between any body heirs provided a majority of them be willing to such disposition and further it is my will that all my children receive equally shear and sear alike in the final settlement of my estate. { I, Mosses Merida} marked out In witness whereof I, Moses Merida Burt have hereunto set my hand and seal this thirteenth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eighteen hundred and eighty four Moses M Burt {Seal} Subscribed by the testator in presents of each other and at the same time declared by him to us as his last will and testament W H Burt Charles J Harben Martha __ Harben Georgia Dawson County I, W J Burt and Mary J Burt do solemnly swear that this writing containers the true last will of the within named Moses M.
