G. Burt, Deceast State of Georgia } Dawson County } I, Clark G. Burt of said county being blessed with sufficient mind and memory for which I am thankful to almightly God and considing the uncertainly of human life and deeming it prater that I should make a disposition of the property of which a kind providence has blessed me do make this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all others by me maid Item 1st I desire and direct that my body be buried in a decent and Christan like manner according to my circumstances in life I believe for many years in a universal God and universal Saviour and therefore in universal salvation I entertain the belief expressed because God is able to accomplish all his will he sent his son to be the saviour of the world who gave himself a ransom for all to be testified in due time, For as in Adam all deed even so in Christ shall all be made alive entertaining this glorious hope I submit myself soul body and spirit unto that God who will have all merits to saved. Item 2nd I desire and direct that all my just debts be paid by my executors hereinafter named. Item 3rd I desire and bequeath to my beloved wife Minervia all my property of whatever it may consist both real and personal at my death to be controlled and managed by her as long as she lives or remains a widow and in case she should marry then in that event I desire that all my property of what ever it may consist be sold to the best advantage by my executers and the proceeds of all the property after expenses have been paid be divided equally between her and my children that are living or their bodily heirs she taking an equal share alike with all my bodily heirs or their decedents. Item 4th I desire it to be distinctly understood that if any of my children die leaving no issue that at the death of such a one that its part shall revert back to be equally divided among those that are living my wife takes share a like with those are living or those bodily heirs. Item 5th I hereby constitute and appoint my beloved wife Minervia executrix and my beloved son William B and Samuel C Burt and my beloved and only brother D J Burt my executors of this my last Will and Testament Clark G Burt {Seal} Signed Sealed Declared and Published by Clark G Burt as his last Will and Testament in the presence of the undersigned subscribing witnesses who have subscribed our names hereto as witnesses in presence of said testator and in presence of each other at the request of the testator. Burt sign declare and publish the accompanying paper as his last Will and Testament that he signed the same in our presence and that we and each of us at the special instance and request of said testator signed the same as witnesses in the presence of said testator and in the presence of each other and that at the time of such signing said C G Burt testator was of sound and disposing mind and memory and in signing acted freely and voluntarily.
