State of Georgia 
    Dawson County 
I, John D. Frix of said County and State being of sound and
disposing mind and memory and knowing that I must shortly
depart this life deem in right and proper that I should make a
disposition of the property with which a kind providence has
blessed me--do therefore make and publish this my last Will and
Testament by me heretofore made. 

Item  1st  I give bequeath and devise to my beloved my  wife
Martha Frix during her natural life all of the property both
real and personal as well as money and debts that I may own or
of which I may be possessed at the time of my death- my said
wife Martha Frix is to manage and control said property and use
the same for our support and maintenance for and during her
natural life--and whatever property of effects that may be
remaining at the death of my said wife I direct that the same
shall be equally divided between all of my children or lawful
heirs shear and share alike and also I direct that Akin Pilgrim
whom I have raised shall have an equal shear of my said
property after the debts of my said wife with - each of my said
children provided said Akin stays with me during my  natural
life or until he arrives at the age of twenty one years. 

Item 2nd.  Second I desire and devise that my executor
hereinafter named and appointed shall pay all just debts
without unnecessary delay that I may owe at the time of my
death and for this purpose he is hereby authorized to sell
either at public or private sale sufficient of my personal
property to pay said debts as well as to pay the expenses of
setting up this will and to make a return of said sale to the
ordinary of the county where such sale is maid. 

Item 3 third   I hereby nominate and appoint my beloved wife
Martha Frix my  Executor of this my last Will and Testament.
This the 18th day of Sept 1891

last Will and Testament in the presence of us the subscribers--
who subscribe our names hereto--in the presence of said
testator at his special instance and request and in the
presence of each other the signing in our presence and we
signing in his presence.

    Georgia Dawson County 
I, John B. Thomas do swear that I as well as H.d. Martin and
V.D. Monroe saw the within named John D. Frix sign and publish
the within paper as his last Will and Testament  that I
subscribed the same as a witness there to at the special
instance and request of the said John D. Frix an in his
presence as did also H.D. Martin and V. D. Monroe that the said
John D. Frix signed the same freely and voluntarily and was at
the time of such signing of sound and disposing mind and
memory.
