I, John Lingefelt of said county and state, having advanced in years and in bad health, knowing that I must shortly depart this life deem it both proper and right as respects myself and family that I should make a distribution of the property with which a kind providence has blest me with do therefore make this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all others heretofore made by me. Item First. I devises that all just debts be paid without delay by my executors hereinafter mentioned, as I am not willing that my creditors should be delayed in their rights, especially as there is no necessity for delay. Item Second, I gives bequeath and devise to my beloved wife, Sinetha Lingerfelt with whom I have lived in the strickish confidence for nine years my house place, Nos 557,560,561, 596, 597, 598, 599, 628, 629, 630, 631, it being in the 5th district and 1st Section of Dawson County. Four hundred and forty acres more or less, also my entire household and kitchen furniture after she is to give my daughter Mary Jane Magdalina a sewing machine and each others things as we have given our other daughters when they moved off, also one mule, July, five head of sheep, ten heads of hogs, one cow and calf and two heifers and one steer, also a two horse wagon, also my syrup mill and the outfit, also the large kettle, also my farming tools all the above specified property is to be my wife for her support and maintenance during her natural life and at her death the above property what is left to be sold and equally divided between my our children. Item Thirds, I desire that the balance of my lands and all other property not herein enumerator to be sold at public sale and the proceeds to go to my wife and for her use after all expenses is paid, except my mining property, two-fifths of Two hundred and twenty=nine, 229, and one-fourth and one sixteenth interest in lot No. Two hundred thirty, 230, which property if it should come into market at a fain price for such property, I desire and authorize my executors to sell it at private sale and divide the proceeds amongst my children equal. Item 4th. I hereby constitute and appoint my wife Sinetha Lingerfelt my executrix and my son John W. Lingerfelt my executor to this my last Will and Testament. This the 28th day of May 1884.
