Whereas on the 5th day of Decatur County July 1858 W. G. Harrell was Appointed 
Guardian to Mahaly, William & James Harrell Orphans of Josiah Harrell deceased. 
And whereas the said W. G. Harrell being desirous (for good & sufficient 
measure made known to the Court of Ordinary) of giving up said Guardianship and 
having brought in Blackmon Dollar as his substitute who is approved of by the 
Ordinary. Now know all were by their presents that we Blackmon Dollar principal 
and William G. Harrell, Levi Harrell and William Dollar Moses Pullen and John 
Pullen as securities are held and firmly bound unto H. M. Beach Ordinary of 
said county and his successur in office in the just full sum of eleven thousand 
two hundred & sixteen dollars for the payment of which sum we bind ourselves 
our heirs executur and administrators jointly & severally firmly by their 
presents. Sealed with our seals and dated this seventeenth day of March 1860. 
	The condition of the above obligation is such that whereas the said 
Blackmon Dollar has been this day appointed Guardian to Mahaly, William & James 
Harrell Orphans of Josiah Harrell deceased now If the said Blackmon Dollar do 
well and truly demean himself as guardian as aforesaid agreeably to letters of 
guardianship bearing new date herewith and agreeably to law in such case made
provided the above obligation to be void otherwise to remain in full force
and virtue. 		Blackmon Dollar
